General Silobration Questions

Do I need a ticket to attend? 
Silobration is free and open to all guests throughout the day! We do have events during the weekend that require a ticket.

What are the event dates and times?
Silobration is Thursday, October 27 - Saturday, October 29. Daytime is free entry 9:00am - 6:00pm.
Evening events are ticketed only and begin after 7:00pm.

What are the hours of operation for Silos restaurants and shops? 
Magnolia Market, Silos Baking Co., Magnolia Home, Shops at the Silos: 9:00am-6:00pm
Magnolia Press: 7:00am-6:00pm
Magnolia Table: 7:00am-3:00pm.

What is the timeline of the free events during the day? 
Vendor fair: 9:00am-6:00pm
Music on the lawn: 10:00am-5:00pm.

Is there designated parking for the event? Is parking free?
Street parking throughout downtown is free for all guests.

Is Magnolia Market + Event Venue ADA Accessible?
Yes, Magnolia Market at the Silos is ADA accessible including all three of our entrances. 

Are pets allowed during the event?
Yes! Pets are welcome on our property during regular event hours 9:00am-6:00pm. An area for pet relief will be located outside of the Silobration street closure on 6th St. For evening events, pets are not allowed with the exception of service animals. 

Do I have to have a ticket to attend Silobration?
Silobration is free and our grounds are open to everyone during the day! We have two daytime activities that require tickets, Tour of the Silos Grounds and the Roller Skating Rink, but there is plenty of fun to be had without a ticket. We will host three evening events that all require tickets to attend.

Can I get a refund if I cancel?
All tickets are non-refundable. 

If I’m coming from out of town, what are your hotel recommendations?
Whether you’re planning to spend the night or stay for the weekend, we suggest booking a hotel room as soon as possible, as many of the surrounding hotels tend to fill up quickly. You can find a full list of nearby hotels here.

Will Chip and Joanna be at the event? If so, will there be a meet-and-greet with them? 
There will not be a meet-and-greet with Chip and Jo. But they love this event and hope you enjoy your weekend in Waco!


Concert Questions

What will seating look like for the event?
There are a limited number of picnic tables and benches available around the lawn. However, the majority of our guests will stand on the lawn during the event.

Can I bring a chair/towel/blanket into the evening concert?
No, all chairs and blankets are prohibited during the event. 

Where do I check in for the concert?
Check-in for ticketed events is at the corner of 8th St. and Webster Ave.

What time can ticket holders start forming a line?
Guests can begin queuing in line at 5:00pm each night.

Do I need to print my ticket?
It’s up to you! Your ticket can also be scanned from your phone if you choose to not print it.

Are strollers allowed?
Umbrella strollers only during the event and will be subject to inspection by security.

Are there any items that aren’t allowed on the property during the event?
Outside food and drink, chairs, blankets, large strollers, fireworks, and weapons of any kind, will not be permitted on our property. Ticket holders will be required to participate in a bag check upon entry. Non-clear bags larger than 6.5”x4.5” are not allowed and clear bags may not exceed 12”x6”x12”. Exceptions include: Magnolia shopping bags, diaper bags, and bags used for medical equipment purposes. Please note all of these exceptions are subject to security search and screening upon entry.

Do I need to purchase tickets for my children?
Admission for kids 2 and under is free!

Are pets allowed during the concert?
Due to the nature of the event, pets are discouraged due to crowd size.

Are we able to cancel/refund a ticket?
All tickets are non-refundable.

Will the event happen if it rains? Will I get a refund if the concert is canceled?
All events at Magnolia occur rain or shine. Should an event be canceled, tickets may be refunded.

Will the food trucks be open during the event?
Yes, Magnolia Table at Concessions, Maggie’s, Silo’s Baking Co. airstream, and a variety of other third-party food trucks will be available. 


Skating Rink Questions

Where is the skating rink located?
The skating rink will be located on the Katy Ballpark, Magnolia’s WIFFFLE ball field at the Silo’s

What are the dates and hours of operation? 
October 27-29 from 10:00am - 5:00pm with ticket time slots beginning at the top of every hour.

Do I need to buy a ticket for my child?
Yes, all skaters will need their own ticket. 

How long is skating?
Skating time slots will last about an hour.

Are skates provided?
Yes, rental skates are included in the ticket price.

How much are tickets?
Adults $20; Children 12 and under $15.

Can I purchase tickets onsite?
There will be a very limited number of tickets available to purchase onsite based on capacity so we encourage guests to purchase their skating tickets in advance.

Can I bring my own skates?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own roller skates. You will still be required to purchase a ticket and sign a waiver before skating.

Can my kids skate without an adult?
All guests 10 and under will be required to be accompanied by an adult and all guests 17 and under must have an adult sign their skating waiver.

Do I need to wear socks to skate? 
Yes, socks are required to wear with the rental skates.

What if I forget socks, can I still skate? 
No socks, no problem! Socks will be available for purchase onsite. 


Tour the Silos Grounds Questions

Can I go on or join a tour if I don’t have a ticket?
No, tickets are required. Tours are offered Thursday, October 27-Saturday, October 29 at 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, and 4:00pm.

Can kids take a tour for free?
Kids 7 years old and younger do not have to pay for a ticket and are welcome to join us on the tour.

Does the tour go inside the Silos?
No. There is nothing inside of the Silos currently.

Does the tour allow for strollers/wheelchairs, etc?
Yes. This walking tour covers the entire property, including three staircases, but elevators and ramps are available for those who need them.
