Reservation Questions

I made a reservation and still haven’t received a confirmation email. What should I do?
Email help@magnolia.com and we can help you out!

Can I go and see the castle if I don’t have a ticket?
Out of respect for the neighborhood, we only allow ticketed guests onto the property.

Can kids take a tour for free?
Kids 7 years old or younger do not have to pay for a ticket and are free to join you on the tour!

Is there a group rate or discount for larger groups?
Yes! For groups of six or more, a 10% discount will be applied. Tickets must be purchased in the same transaction.

Does the tour allow for strollers/wheelchairs, etc?
This century-old home does not have an elevator and requires guests’ ability to access three staircases.

What if I can’t make the time of my tour?
If possible, please cancel your reservation with at least 24 hours notice if you’re unable to attend your tour.

Can I transfer my ticket to another day?
Unfortunately, no. If you’re unable to attend your reserved time, you will need to cancel and purchase a new ticket.

Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Yes, refunds for the cost of tickets are offered within 24 hours of the initial purchase. Any cancellations outside of that window will result in forfeiture of all ticket fees.

Can I purchase items I see on the tour?
None of the items in the home are available for purchase during the tour, but select items will be available to shop at magnolia.com.

Should I be prepared to tip my tour guide?
Our team is not expecting tips! If tips are given, our tour guides share the generosity as a group.

General Questions

When will the castle season of Fixer Upper: Welcome Home air?
You’ll be able to watch all eight episodes of the season on Magnolia Network starting in September 2022.

Will the castle look the same as it does on reveal day on the show?
Yes! The home is staged exactly how it will be shown on the episode when it airs this fall.

Why did Chip and Joanna buy a castle?
Chip wanted a shot at restoring this historical Waco landmark to its full glory and, for nearly 20 years, he put in offers whenever the castle was relisted. When Chip and Jo finally bought it in 2019, Jo embraced the challenge of designing a home that celebrates the castle’s original character but also gives it a new story.

Will Chip and Joanna be onsite?
Now that filming is complete, there are no plans for Chip and Jo to be onsite during the tours.

What’s next for the castle? Will I be able to stay there as a B&B?
Chip and Jo plan to sell this home to someone looking to live in Waco’s beautiful Castle Heights neighborhood.
