The third annual Silo District Marathon weekend will take place Friday, April 22, 2022, through Sunday, April 24, 2022, in Waco, Texas.
What is the schedule for the weekend?
Friday, April 22
1:00pm - 6:00pm - Packet pickup
Saturday, April 23
8:00am - 5k start
9:30am - Kid’s Fun Run
10:00am - 6pm - Packet pickup
Sunday, April 24
7:00am - Half and full marathon start
2:30pm - Race course closes
Do I have to register to run?
In order to participate in the 5K, Half Marathon, or Full Marathon, you must register prior to the race. Each participant over the age of 18 must register themselves and sign their own participation waiver.
How do I register for the Silo District Marathon? How do I confirm my registration?
All participants must register online. Once you are registered, you may confirm your registration here.
What are the age limits for each race?
5k - ages 4 and older
Kid’s Fun Run - ages 10 and under
Half Marathon - ages 9 and older
Full Marathon - ages 13 and older
For your safety, anyone participating in the event must be a registered runner.
What is the cancellation policy?
All registration fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to participate for any reason, we will not be able to accommodate refunds.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes - find more details on your runner dashboard. Note that April 15, 2022, is the last day to transfer your registration.
Where is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will be located at the Silos. Grab your race swag and spend the day on the grounds at the following dates and times:
Friday, April 22 from 1:00pm-6:00pm
Saturday, April 23 from 10:00am-6:00pm
What do I need to bring to the packet pick-up?
Be sure to bring your ID!
Will medical services be available on the course?
Yes, aid stations will be available along the course.
Can I run with a stroller?
Strollers are allowed on the 5k course. However, we strongly discourage strollers on the half marathon and full marathon course.
If I can’t make it to the race after all, is there any way to get my shirt?
Unfortunately, we are not able to ship shirts or swag bags to participants who are unable to attend.
Will there be a virtual option for the event?
No, the event will not have a virtual component.
Other need to knows:
Weapons of any kind, bags, bandit runners, and miscellaneous items including pets, drones, selfie sticks, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, coolers, or any props that could be considered to be a trip hazard are NOT allowed on the courses. In addition, any costumes that are bulky, cover the face, or extend beyond the body are prohibited.
