About the Magnolia Story Tour

Meet us at the Silos here in Waco, Texas for a 45-minute guided walking tour. Hear the inspiring story of how Magnolia came to be and the unique history behind each addition to the Silos property. Included in the tour is a visit to the roof of Magnolia Market—the best photo op on the grounds! This tour welcomes no more than 16 guests, guaranteeing a personalized and exclusive experience for each group.

Note: all guests accessing the roof of the Market are required to ascend two steps and descend one step.
Reservation FAQS
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Yes! Requests for refunds that are submitted and/or received within seven (7) days of the tour shall receive a fifty percent (50%) refund. No refunds will be given for requests that are submitted and/or received less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the tour. You may submit a request for a cancelation with Guest Services at help@magnolia.com.
What do I do if I didn’t receive a confirmation email?

Can I transfer my ticket to another day?
Unfortunately, no. If you’re unable to attend your reserved time, you will need to cancel and purchase a new ticket.
Can kids take a tour for free?
Kids 7 years old and younger do not have to pay for a ticket and are welcome to join us on the tour.
What if I can’t make the time of my tour?
If possible, please cancel your reservation with at least 24 hours notice if you’re unable to attend your tour.
General FAQs
Can I go on or join a tour if I don’t have a ticket?
No, but tours are offered every Monday-Saturday.
Should I be prepared to tip my tour guide?
Our team is not expecting tips. When guests choose to tip, our team shares the generosity as a group.
Does the tour go inside the Silos?
No. There is nothing inside of the Silos currently.
Does the tour allow for strollers/wheelchairs, etc?
Yes. This walking tour covers the entire property, including three staircases, but elevators and ramps are available for those who need them.
Will Chip and Joanna be on site?
We don’t guarantee Chip and Joanna will be on-site during your tour, but they come by as often as their schedule allows!
