About the Magnolia Product Barcode Scanner

The Magnolia barcode scanner allows customers to easily scan and purchase select Magnolia products using the Magnolia app while shopping onsite at the Silos.

To access the barcode scanner, open the Magnolia app, go to Shop, then select Search. From here, you will see the Scan icon in the top right corner. Tap the icon to open the barcode scanner, where you will be prompted to enable camera access for the Magnolia app. Simply tap “Enable Camera” and then “OK” to allow Magnolia to access your camera, and you're ready to start scanning!

You can also manually enable camera access for the Magnolia app in your device Settings.

  • To manually enable camera access on Apple Devices: Go to the Settings app, select Privacy & Security, then select Camera. From here, scroll down to find the Magnolia app and tap the switch next to Magnolia turn on camera access.
  • To manually enable camera access on Android Devices: Go to the Settings app, tap Apps, then scroll down to find and select the Magnolia app. From here, tap Permissions, then tap Camera (or Microphone), then tap “Allow only while using the app to enable the hardware for this app”.

Using the barcode scanner to scan and purchase products is simple. When shopping at the Silos, locate the barcode on the product you’d like to purchase, open the scanner and point your camera at the barcode, and the product page will automatically pop up in your app. From here, you can select the quantity, size, style, or color as needed and add the item to your cart where you can check out or save the item for later.

You can also use the barcode scanner to re-order products you have already purchased and have at home! Simply locate the barcode on the item, scan the barcode using the barcode scanner, and the product page will pop up allowing you to quickly re-order what you love.

Please note that only Magnolia items available online can be purchased using the barcode scanner. Silos-exclusive items cannot be scanned and must be purchased in-person at the store. Non-Magnolia products sold on-site at the Silos and third-party partnership brands (e.g. Hearth and Hand products) also cannot be scanned.
