Accessibility on Magnolia Tours
The images and descriptions below will help guests plan their trip to Magnolia and allow them to be prepared when participating in a tour or experience. While we strive to accommodate each of our guests, it’s important to note that some areas within our properties pose unique mobility and accessibility challenges due to their historic protection. This page provides detailed information about the accessibility features and limitations of each type of tour, helping you plan your visit with ease and confidence.
Physical Mobility
Magnolia Story Tour
Distance: approximately .25 miles
Stairs: Required
Elevator: Partially Available
ADA Accessible Bathrooms: Available
The majority of the Magnolia Story tour is wheelchair accessible. The final stop includes a visit to the rooftop of Magnolia Market, which requires guests to climb an outdoor three-story staircase. Guests who choose to ride the elevator will be required to climb two 7” steps and one 9” step to reach the patio from the elevator. In the event that a guest is unable to climb steps, the top of the staircase is a flat entry from the elevator platform and also provides a unique perspective of the property.
Upon reaching the roof of Magnolia Market guests may choose to visit the birds’ nest, which requires 15 additional 7” steps. There is no elevator available to reach the birds’ nest.
