Managing Location Permissions

Make the most of your Magnolia app experience by turning on your Location Services on your mobile device and sharing your location with Magnolia! This allows you to locate yourself on the Silos Interactive Map and navigate the Silos with ease whenever you visit. Learn more about the Silos Interactive Map here.

If you do not have your Location Services turned on when you first open the Silos Interactive Map on the Magnolia app, you will be prompted to do so. Simply tap “Share My Location” to give the Magnolia app permission to access your location and make the most of the map. 

You can also manage your Location Permissions directly from your mobile device:

• Managing Location Services on Apple Devices: Go to the Settings app on your device, select Privacy & Security, then select Location Services. To turn on Location Services, toggle Location Services on. Next, scroll down to find and select the Magnolia app. From here, you can select from the following permissions for the Magnolia app: Always share your location, Share While Using the App, Ask Next Time or When I Share, or Never share. To turn off your Location Services, go back to the Location Services page and toggle it off. 
• Managing Location Services on Android Devices: Go to the Settings app on your device, and select Location. From here, toggle Location on. Next, select App Permissions and scroll down to find and select the Magnolia app. From here, you can select from the following permissions for the Magnolia app: Allow all the time, Allow only while using the app, Ask every time, or Don’t allow. To turn off your Location Services, go back to the Location page and toggle it off.
