Waco Regional Airport (16 minutes from downtown Waco)
Waco Regional Airport is located just minutes away from downtown Waco and the Silos, making it the most convenient option for travelers visiting from out of state. It’s a small airport which means shorter lines, quicker security checks, and easy navigation. Because of that, it also means that most flights to Waco will make a stop through Austin or Dallas first. Tickets directly to Waco tend to be more expensive than tickets to the larger surrounding airports.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (98 minutes from Waco)
The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport serves as a major international gateway and is located approximately 100 miles north of Waco. With a vast network of airlines and destinations, the DFW airport makes an ideal choice for travelers visiting from around the world and offers extensive amenities, including multiple dining and shopping options, lounges, and efficient ground transportation services. Note that if you plan to fly through DFW to get to Waco, you’ll need to rent a car or take a cab/ride service to get to town.

Dallas Love Field Airport (95 minutes from Waco)
Dallas Love Field Airport is located just a short drive away from downtown Dallas. A smaller airport than Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Love Field offers fewer crowds and shorter security lines. Love Field primarily serves domestic flights via Southwest Airlines, making it an excellent choice for travelers looking for convenient connections within the United States. If you plan to fly through Dallas Love Field to get to Waco, you’ll need to rent a car or take a cab/ride service to get to town.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (93 minutes from Waco)
The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is located about 100 miles south of Waco. With a wide array of airlines and destinations, the airport offers convenient flight options for travelers coming to Waco and features various dining options and shops. If you plan to fly through Austin-Bergstrom to get to Waco, you’ll need to rent a car or take a cab/ride service to get to town.

Travel by Car

Whether you’re road tripping from somewhere afar or driving to Waco from Austin or Dallas, we highly recommend having access to a car while you visit. While Waco has a walking-friendly downtown area, a car provides greater convenience and flexibility to explore the surrounding city and its attractions.

Rental Cars
Waco offers a range of rental car options, making it convenient for travelers to explore the city and its surroundings at their own pace. From well-known car rental companies to local providers, visitors can find a variety of vehicles to suit their needs, whether it's a compact car for city exploration or a spacious SUV for family adventures.

Rideshare Apps
Using rideshare apps in Waco can be challenging due to limited availability and longer wait times compared to major metropolitan areas. The smaller size of the city and its transportation infrastructure may result in fewer drivers, particularly during peak hours or in less densely populated areas.

Where to Park at the Magnolia Silos
For guests at the Silos, free street parking is available along 6th Street, 8th Street, and Webster Avenue. A free parking lot is also available at the corner of 9th Street and Webster Avenue. Handicap spots are marked and located along 6th Street and 8th Street.
